Pownal Street Press is honoured to announce the June 2026 publication of Dandelion Rebellion.
Dandelion Rebellion is a call for radical empathy. A Wild voice underscoring that we are part of the world on which we wander and must redefine how we interface with the environments around us. We are the land. Resistance is now survival against Flower Famine. There is no separation between inner liberation and collective action. Each poem is a small act of resistance, inviting readers to feel, to witness, and to act alongside the land that sustains us.

the world only wants to eat your heart,
—J.M Platts-Fanning
but the wild ~ the wild will devour you whole
“We are proud to present this title by naturalist and poetess, Jennifer Platts-Fanning,” says Editorial Director, Mo Duffy. “From mourning-cloak wings to neuro awakenings born in the forest, this collection reminds us that ‘trees do not wait for permission to grow.’ Platts-Fanning’s words ache with the heart wrenching truths of a forest gone on living, long after our footprints have left.”
