Illustrator Ellie Arscott will be launching A is for Anne at 11am on April 22 at Queen Books.

All ages will love this modern tribute to the Canadian classic, Anne of Green Gables, by Lucy Maud Montgomery. A is for Anne introduces young readers to the world of Anne of Green Gables, complete with its hopes, dreams, themes, and friendships. In this voyage through Anne’s alphabet, Anne meets the kindred spirits of Avonlea as she falls in love with Prince Edward Island and all its beauty.

A is for Anne was written by Mo Duffy Cobb (Unpacked: From PEI to Palawan, The Chemistry of Innovation: Regis Duffy and the Story of DCL, Crescent Moon Friends), the co-founder and editor for Pownal Street Press, illustrated by Ellie Arscott (Nonna & The Girls Next Door, Night Walk, and the upcoming Auntie Rez’s Surprise, among others), and typeset by book designer Jordan Beaulieu. A is for Anne is a story of identity, imagination, and poise.
